Here you will find who we are, what data we collect when you ask us for a quote, how we handle it, and what the limits of the restoration service are.

The service Alakazam Labs is a brand operated by Forrrreal Enterprise LLC, a limited liability company under United States law (a Wyoming Limited Liability Company).

Data protection notice
Data controller: Forrrreal Enterprise LLC — contact: assistenza@alakazamlabs.shop.
Data collected: first and last name, contact details (phone number or Instagram handle), information about the cards (name, set, language, condition) and the front/back photographs you upload. Only if you ask for a damaged card to be replaced: also the details in the request form and the scan of your ID document.
Purpose: to work out the value estimate, prepare your free quote, carry out the restoration service if you go ahead and handle any replacement requests.
Legal basis: your consent and the performance of pre-contractual and contractual steps requested by you.
Retention: data and photos are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and meet legal obligations, then deleted. Photos are stored confidentially; they are neither published nor passed to third parties.
Recipients: we do not sell your data. It may be processed only by technical suppliers strictly necessary to deliver the service.
Your rights. You may at any time request access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, and withdraw your consent, by writing to assistenza@alakazamlabs.shop.
Cookies and visit statistics
This site uses no profiling cookies and no third-party analytics services (no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels).
Anonymous statistics
To understand how many people visit the site and whether the quote form is working, we record anonymous events on our own servers: page visited, form opened, request sent, and any technical errors.
Your IP address is never stored. We keep only a hashed, non-reversible code that changes every day: it exists so that the same visit is not counted twice within a day, and it cannot be traced back to you. This data is deleted automatically after 90 days.
Your browser's local storage
We save some technical information in your browser (localStorage): the fact that you have already seen the discount-code messages, so we do not show them every time, and any personal discount code assigned to you, so you can find it again if you come back before it expires. These are not cookies, they are not sent to our servers to profile you, and you can clear them by deleting the site data in your browser.
Personal discount codes
If you are offered a personal discount code, it is created on our servers and stored together with its creation date, its expiry, and the request it was used on, if any. The code is not linked to your identity: we store neither your IP address nor any other personal data when it is generated. Expired or already-used codes are deleted within 30 days.
External services
Some resources are loaded from third parties, and that means your IP address is sent to those providers, as happens with any resource a browser requests:
- Google Fonts — the site's typefaces
- images.pokemontcg.io e images.scrydex.com — the card photographs you see in the search dropdown
The animation libraries no longer come from an external CDN: they are served from our own site. And the card data now lives on our server: when you search for a card your browser talks only to us. Only for the market price of the card you picked do we query pokemontcg.io, and we do that from the server ourselves: your IP address never reaches them.
Estimates and liability
The figures shown are indicative estimates based on market data (Cardmarket via pokemontcg.io) and on the language and condition you declared: they are not an appraisal, nor a guarantee of sale.
Restoration is a conservation treatment, carried out with the greatest care; even so, some cards — especially very damaged or fragile ones — may not improve, or may suffer further damage. Forrrreal Enterprise LLC does not guarantee the result and is not liable for pre-existing flaws or fragility.
Cleaned or restored cards may also be classed as “altered” by the grading services (PSA, BGS, CGC).
Card damage: our replacement policy
If a card is damaged, Alakazam Labs undertakes to replace it with a card in equal or better condition than the condition assessed when it arrived at the lab.
Conditions
The customer must have photos documenting the card's starting condition. Without such photos, to the extent permitted by law, Alakazam Labs does not acknowledge any damage or liability and reserves the right to decide whether or not to apply the replacement policy.
The request
If Alakazam Labs decides to apply the replacement policy, the customer must submit the request form filled in with their own details and the card's details, attaching:
- a scan of their ID document, front and back;
- a scan of the card to be replaced, front and back.
Replacement or refund
Alakazam Labs undertakes to take back the damaged card and to provide, within 14 working days of accepting the request, a replacement in equal condition — or of equal grade, if the card is graded.
If no replacement can be found, Alakazam Labs undertakes to refund 80% of the market value of a copy in equal condition, calculated at the time the alleged damage occurred.
Outside the terms of this policy, Alakazam Labs is not obliged to issue refunds or compensation of any kind and reserves the right to assess each case individually. This does not affect the rights the law grants to consumers.

Alakazam Labs is not affiliated with, associated with, authorised or sponsored by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Wizards of the Coast, Konami or any other holder of the trademarks mentioned. All trademarks and card images belong to their respective owners and are shown solely to describe the restoration service.
